OM G how I hated Grouts, I was marched in there twice a year by my mother to buy the navy knickers, beige brown high woollen socks and worst of all the liberty bodices with their horrible rubber buttonsall of which had to be worn to school until the end of May..despite a heat wave .I m shuddering to think of that shop and the humiliation it brought to me at Hazelwood Primary School.
