In 2016 the Quartet completed a six year project in which they performed all 68 of Haydns String Quartets. Besides playing piano, Avery likes to play table tennis, swimming, creative writing, reading, coding, and biology and chemistry. Young musicians will be inspired through private lessons, chamber ensemble coaching, and masterclasses with Lyra Music Faculty Artists and Lyra Music Festival Guest Artists-in-Residence: Ilmar Gavilan, Violin; Clancy Newman, Cello; Anna Polonsky, Piano and will benefit from the experience of performing in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor outreach concerts and a final gala student event.
